For Paste:
- 1 Cup Green Peas (Matar)
- 8-10 Green Chillies (Hari Mirch)
- Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
- 1 Cup Green Peas (Matar)
- 4 Mashed Potatoes
- 1 Teaspoon Mustard Seeds (Rai)
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
- 1 Teaspoon Coarsely Crushed Coriander Seeds (Sabut Dhania)
- 1/4 Teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
- Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
- Juice of 1/2 Lemon
- Salt
- Oil
- In a mixer cup add green peas, green chilies and coriander leaves. Grind it coarsely.
- Heat some oil in kadhai add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, coarsely crushed coriander leaves and asafoetida.
- Add the green peas paste and saute it well. Add some whole green peas and mix it. Close lid and cook for 3-5 minutes.
- Mash potatoes in it.
- Add salt as per taste and lemon juice. Close lid and cook for 3 minutes.
- Garnish it with coriander leaves and Lila Vatana Batata Nu Shaak is ready.
