Besan Marcha Nu Shaak
Today we will make tasty & spicy Marcha Nu Shaak. You can enjoy this besan marcha nu shaak with jowar na rotla or with phulka rotis. This yummy and tasty Gujarati shaak is very quick to make and is prepared using less spicy green chilies. Adding amchur powder gives a nice tangy taste to this simple and tasty Gujarati recipe.

Recipe:
Ingredients:
  • Diced Green Chilies
  • 1-2 Tablespoons of Gram Flour (Besan)
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • 1 Teaspoon Kalonji
  • 1 Teaspoon Fennel Seeds (Saunf)
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1 Teaspoon Amchur Powder
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) Powder
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Oil
Procedure:
  1. Heat oil and add cumin seeds, kalonji, fennel seeds and asafoetida. Stir well.
  2. Add diced green chilies and sauté it well.
  3. Add turmeric powder, amchur powder, dhana jeera powder, red chilli powder and salt. Mix well.
  4. Add gram flour and roast it well.
  5. Sprinkle some water and stir it. Besan marcha nu shaak is ready.
