- 1 Cup of Gram Flour (Besan)
- 1 Teaspoon Green Chilli (Hari Mirch) Paste
- 1 Teaspoon Kasuri Methi
- 1/4 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
- 1/4 Teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
- 1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice
- Salt
- Sugar
- Water
- 1 Teaspoon Oil
- Oil
- Achaar Masala
- In a mixing cup take gram flour, add turmeric powder, green chilli paste, kasuri methi, lemon juice and salt. Add sugar as per taste and mix it.
- Add little water slowly to the mixture and mix it. For 1 cup gram flour you will require approximately 1/2 cup of water.
- Add oil and asafoetida. Mix well and prepare a slightly thick batter. Make sure it is not runny and there no lumps left in the mixture.
- Now boil some water in a deep bottomed utensil.
- Spread the batter evenly on a plate. Make it as thin as possible.
- Once the water is boiled place the plate upside down. On high flame steam it for 3-4 minutes.
- Once it is cooked apply some oil and sprinkle some chaat masala. Cut it with a knife and remove the pieces. Chiba Dhokli a visarati vangi is ready to eat.
