Recipe: Ingredients:
  • Cheese Cubes
  • 2-3 Diced Onions
  • 3 Diced Tomatoes
  • ½ Cup Cream (Malai)
  • 10-12 Cashew Nuts (Kaju)
  • 8-10 Garlic Cloves (Lehsun)
  • 1-1.5 Inch Ginger (Adrak)
  • 3-4 Green Chilies (Hari Mirch)
  • 2-3 Bay Leaves (Tej Patta)
  • 4-5 Cardamom (Elaichi)
  • 5-6 Cloves (Laung)
  • 5-6 Black Peppercorns (Sabut Kali Mirch)
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick (Dalchini)
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • ¼ Teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
  • 1.5-2 Teaspoon Red Chili (Lal Mirch) Powder
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Dried Fenugreek (Kasuri Methi)
  • Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Butter
  1. Heat some oil and add diced onions, diced tomatoes and sauté it well.
  2. Add garlic cloves, ginger, green chilies and cashew nuts. Stir fry the ingredients well.
  3. Close lid and cook for 3-5 minutes. Let it cool down and prepare a paste.
  4. Now in a kadhai heat some ghee and 2-3 teaspoons of butter.
  5. Add cumin seeds, asafoetida, bay leaves, cardamom, black peppercorns, cinnamon and cloves. Stir well.
  6. Add turmeric powder and mix well. Add previously prepared paste and fry it well. Close lid and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add red chili powder, dhana jeera powder and garam masala. Mix well.
  8. Add cream and salt. Stir well till ghee separates.
  9. Add dried fenugreek and mix well.
  10. Add water and prepare gravy.
  11. Switch off the gas and add cheese cubes and coriander leaves. Mix well.
  12. Cheese Butter Masala is ready, serve it in a bowl and grate some cheese on top.
