Guvar Dhokli Nu Shaak is a popular Kathiyawadi recipe which is a combination of guvar nu shaak and dhokli nu shaak. The dhoklis prepared in this recipe is similar to Dal Dhokli recipe. The combination of dhokli with guvar along with some simple Gujarati spices is simple amazing. This Guvar Dhokli is prepared in pressure cooker, if you want you can also prepare in kadhai.

- 1-1.5 Cups of Wheat Flour (Gehun ka Atta)
- ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
- 1-1.5 Teaspoon Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Carom Seeds (Ajwain)
- Salt
- 1-2 Teaspoons of Oil
- Water
- 200-250 Grams of Cluster Beans (Guvar)
- 1 Chopped Tomato
- 1-2 Teaspoon Garlic (Lehsun) Paste
- 1 Teaspoon Carom Seeds (Ajwain)
- ¼ Teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
- ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
- 1 Teaspoon Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Sugar
- Salt
- Oil
- Water
- For making dhoklis in a mixing bowl, add wheat flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, dhana jeera powder, carom seeds, salt and oil. Mix well. Now add water and knead a firm dough. Apply some oil and make the dough smooth.
- Take a portion of the dough and roll it into a chapati. Cut square shaped dhoklis and keep them aside.
- Now in a pressure cooker, heat some oil and add carom seeds, asafoetida, tomato and garlic paste. Sauté it well.
- Add Guvar (Cluster Beans), turmeric powder, red chilli powder and dhana jeera powder. Mix well.
- Add salt, sugar and water. Stir well. Let the mixture come to a boil.
- .Now add the dhoklis and stir well and separate the dhoklis well. Add water if required and after a boil, close the lid and pressure cook for 2 whistles.
- Guvar Dhokli Nu Shaak is ready.
