Vatana Ni Chuthney | Matar Ki Chutney | Gujarati Rasoi

Lila Vatana Ni Chutney Chutney or Green Peas Chutney is an easy everyday recipe to make to make your usual daily menu tasty and yummy. This chutney recipe consists of fresh green peas cooked with onions, green chilli and garlic paste. This is a quick recipe that you can cook on a working day.   • 750 Grams Green Peas
  • 2 Chopped Onions
  • 3 Teaspoon Garlic –Green Chilli Paste
  • 2 Teaspoon Roasted Peanut Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • ½ Teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
  • Coriander Leaves
  • Salt
  • Oil
Method –
  1. Stir Fry green peas in oil and take out in a bowl to cool.
  2. Coarsely grind the green peas.
  3. Now in a utensil hear some oil and add cumin seeds and asafoetida.
  4. Add chopped onions and stir till they turn golden brown.
  5. Add garlic- green chilli paste and stir well.
  6. Add roasted peanut powder and mix well.
  7. Now add the green peas.
  8. Add salt as per taste and let the mixture cook for a while.
  9. Add handful of coriander leaves and Green Peas Chutney is ready to enjoy.
