Farali Pudla or Sama ke Chawal Ka Chilla is a easy to make upvas recipe for ekadashi, sankashti chaturthi or for the Navratri festival. Upvas Chilla can be a perfect meal for you and your family during the festival of Navratri. These chillas or pudla are made from soaked Sama ke Chawal i.e. Moraiyo/ Varai.   • 150 Grams Varai / Moraiyo / Sama Ke Chawal
  • ¾ Cup Roasted Peanuts8 -10 Green Chilies1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • Coriander Leaves
  • Water
  • Ghee
  • Salt
Method –
  1. Soak Varai / Moraiyo / Sama Ke Chawal in water for 1-2 Hours.
  2. Add the soaked & drained varai / moraiyo to the grinder along with jeera, green chilies, roasted peanuts, some water and salt.
  3. Make a thin batter in the grinder and add some coriander.
  4. Spread some ghee on a pan and add the batter and spread evenly to make the chilla / pudla.
  5. Cook from both sides and Farali Pudla is ready.
