  • 1 Kg Bottle Gourd (Dudhi)
  • 1 Cup Warm Full Fat Milk
  • 2 Teaspoons of Cream (Malai)
  • 3/4 Cup Sugar
  • Chopped Dry Fruits (Almonds & Cashew Nuts)
  • 1-2 Tablespoons of Ghee
  1. Grate bottle gourd. Squeeze it and drain the water. Drain the water completely to fasten the cooking process.
  2. Heat ghee in kadhai and roast the grated and drained dudhi. Roast it continuously on medium gas for 25-30 minutes.
  3. Add warm full fat milk. Stir it.
  4. Add cream and mix well.
  5. Add sugar and stir on high gas till the halwa thickens.
  6. Once it thickens add chopped dry fruits and enjoy traditional Gujarati Dudhi No Halvo.
