Recipe:
Ingredients:

  • Milk
  • 4-5 Rose Petals
  • 20-25 Soaked & Peeled Almonds (Badam)
  • 8-10 Soaked Cashew Nuts (Kaju)
  • 25-30 Soaked Pistachios (Pista)
  • 2-3 Teaspoons of Soaked Poppy Seeds (Khuskhus)
  • 2-3 Teaspoons of Soaked Melon Seeds (Magaj)
  • 2-3 Cinnamon Sticks (Dalchini)
  • 8-10 Black Peppercorns (Sabut Kali Mirch)
  • 4-5 Cardamom (Elaichi)
  • Saffron (Kesar)
  • Water

Procedure:

  1. In a small mixer cup add soaked & peeled almonds, soaked cashew nuts, soaked pistachios, soaked poppy seeds, soaked melon seeds, cinnamon sticks, black peppercorns, cardamom, saffron and rose petals. Add little water and grind it into a paste.
  2. Now in a blender add 2-3 teaspoons of this paste, add milk and sugar. Blend it.
  3. In a serving glass, add some ice and pour the thandai. Garnish it with rose petals and yummy Holi Special Thandai is ready.
