Ingredients:
- 1/2 Cup Curd (Dahi)
- 1.5-2 Teaspoon Ginger-Garlic-Green Chilli (Adrak-Lehsun-Hari Mirch) Paste
- 1 Teaspoon Carom Seeds (Ajwain)
- 1 Teaspoon Mustard Seeds (Rai)
- 1/4 Teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
- 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
- 1-1.5 Teaspoon Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) Powder
- 1 Cup Water
- Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
- Salt
- Groundnut Oil
- Athana (Pickle) Masala
- Heat some oil and add carom seeds, mustard seeds, asafoetida and let the mustard crackle. Add ginger-garlic-green chilli paste. Sauté it well.
- Add turmeric powder and red chilli powder. Mix well.
- Add curd and stir continuously till water separates.
- Add 1/2 cup water and let it boil. Add salt and coriander leaves.
- After it starts to boil add handvo flour. Stir it using a rolling pin.
- Add another 1/2 cup of water and mix well.
- Now in a pressure cooker take some water and place an utensil. In this utensil add the mixture. Pressure cook for 1 whistle.
- Serve Patuda No Lot in a plate and top it with ground nut oil and athana no masalo. Add some coriander leaves and North Gujarat special Patuda No Lot is ready.
