Ingredients:
- 2 Cups of Finely Chopped Spinach (Palak)
- 1 Cup Semolina (Rava)
- 1 Cup Gram Flour (Besan)
- 1 Finely Chopped Onion
- 8-10 Green Chillies (Hari Mirch)
- 8-10 Garlic Cloves (Lehsun)
- 10-12 Black Peppercorns (Sabut Kali Mirch)
- 1/2 Teaspoon Carom Seeds (Ajwain)
- 1 Teaspoon Fennel Seeds (Saunf)
- 1 Teaspoon Coriander Seeds (Sabut Dhania)
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
- 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
- 1-2 Teaspoon Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) Powder
- 1/4 Teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
- 1/4 Teaspoon Amchur Powder
- 1-1.5 Teaspoon Kasuri Methi
- Salt
- Oil
- Water
Procedure:
- In a mixer cup add carom seeds, fennel seeds, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, black peppercorns, green chillies and garlic cloves. Grind it coarsely.
- In a mixing bowl take finely chopped spinach, add grinded masala, finely chopped onion, turmeric powder, asafoetida, red chilli powder, amachur powder, kasuri methi, semolina, gram flour and salt. Mix well. Add water if required and bind it.
- Prepare vadas and shallow fry it in oil. Make it nice golden brown and crispy. Palak Vadas are ready.
