Ingredients:
- 500 Grams Finely Chopped Fenugreek Leaves (Methi)
- 2 Finely Chopped Tomatoes
- 1.5-2 Teaspoon Green Chilli-Garlic (Hari Mirch-Lehsun) Paste
- 3-4 Teaspoons of Roasted Peanut (Singdana) Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
- 1/4 Teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
- 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
- 1 Teaspoon Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) Powder
- 1-1.5 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
- Salt
- Oil
- Heat oil in a cast iron kadhai. You can also use normal kadhai. Once the oil gets heated add cumin seeds and asafoetida. Let the cumin seeds crackle and add green choli-garlic paste. Sauté it well.
- Add finely chopped tomatoes. Stir well and close lid to cook them.
- Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and dhana jeera powder. Mix well.
- Add finely chopped fenugreek leaves. Stir well and let the methi settle down. Cook for 5-7 minutes. While cooking methi don’t close the lid.
- Now add roasted peanut powder and salt. Cook it for 2-3 minutes. Tasty Methi Nu Shaak is ready.
