
Kadhi is a popular Gujarati recipe and today we will make this Gujarati Kadhi recipe in a different way. Rajwadi Kadhi consists of green garlic and spring onions which gives it a nice taste. For Curd Mixture:
- 250 Grams of Curd (Dahi)
- 2 Tablespoons of Semolina (Rava)
- 2 Tablespoons of Gram Flour (Besan)
- Salt
- Sugar
- ½ Cup Spring Onions
- ¼ Cup of Green Garlic (Hara Lehsun)
- 4-5 Green Chilies (Hari Mirch)
- 1-1.5 Inch of Ginger (Adrak)
- 10-12 Curry Leaves (Kadi Patta)
- 4-5 Cloves (Laung)
- 1-2 Cinnamon Sticks (Dalchini)
- Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
- 2 Teaspoons of Gram Flour (Besan)
- 2-3 Bay Leaves (Tej Patta)
- 10-12 Curry Leaves (Kadi Patta)
- 3-4 Dried Red Chillies (Sukhi Lal Mirch)
- 2 Teaspoons of Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
- ¼ Teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
- ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
- Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
- 1 Teaspoon Kasuri Methi
- Ghee
- Add some water in curd and whisk it well. Add semolina, gram flour, salt and sugar. Whisk well.
- In a mixer cup add cinnamon sticks, cloves, green chilies, ginger, green garlic, spring onions, coriander leaves and curry leaves. Grind it.
- Heat some ghee in a kadhai, add cumin seeds, bay leaves, curry leaves, dried red chilies and asafoetida. Sauté it well.
- Add gram flour and roast it well. Roast it on low gas till a peculiar smell of gram flour comes from the mixture.
- Add the prepare green paste and turmeric powder. Stir well. Add some water to cook green garlic.
- Add curd mixture and stir well. Add water if required. Let it boil for 5-7 minutes.
- Add coriander leaves and kasuri methi. Rajwadi Kadhi is ready.
