Aloo Paratha Punjabi Recipe
Aloo Paratha is a recipe which is loved by everyone and is a popular breakfast recipe. In this recipe of aloo paratha we have prepared it using some finely chopped onions and green chilies which gives this aloo paratha a yummy and crunchy taste. We have also added ajwain to make it tastier. This Ajwain Aloo Paratha is best enjoyed with curd or with pickle. This Punjabi Aloo Paratha recipe can be also prepared for dinner.

Recipe:
Ingredients:

  • 500 Grams of Boiled Potatoes
  • 1 Finely Chopped Onion
  • ¼ Teaspoon Carom Seeds (Ajwain)
  • 4-5 Finely Chopped Green Chilies (Hari Mirch)
  • ½ Cup Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
  • ½ Teaspoon Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) Powder
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
  • ¾ Teaspoon Amchur Powder
  • ¼ Teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
  • Salt
Procedure:
  1. Mash the boiled and peeled potatoes.
  2. Add finely chopped onion, finely chopped green, finely chopped coriander leaves, red chilli powder, dhana jeera powder, amchur powder, asafoetida, carom seeds and salt. Mix it well.Now take a portion of the dough, dust it with wheat flour and roll it. Put some stuffing inside it and close the ends. Again dust it and roll it into a paratha.
  3. Roast the paratha on tawa. Apply ghee on both sides while roasting it. Punjabi Aloo Paratha is ready.
