  • ½ Cup of Almonds (Badam)
  • ½ Cup of Cashew Nuts (Kaju)
  • ½ Cup of Walnuts (Akhrot)
  • ½ Cup of Pistachios (Pista)
  • ¼ Cup of Charoli
  • 1 Cup of Warm Milk
  • ½- ¾ Cup of Sugar
  • Saffron (Kesar) Soaked in Warm Milk
  • ¼ Teaspoon Nutmeg (Jaiphal) Powder
  • ¼ Teaspoon Cardamom (Elaichi) Powder
  • Ghee


  1. Grind all the dry fruits separately into coarse powder.
  2. In a heavy bottom kadhai add cow ghee and heat it. Add the dry fruits powder and roast it well.
  3. Add milk and sugar. Stir on medium flame till it thickens into a halvo.
  4. Add saffron which was soaked in milk. Add nutmeg powder and cardamom powder. Mix well.
  5. Add some ghee and switch off the gas. Panchratna Halvo is ready.
