Tomato Puri is a tasty Gujarat snacks recipe. This puri is tangy and spicy in taste. Tomato puri with a cup of tea is simply amazing. We have used wheat flour to make this puri. Addition of dried red chilies gives a nice spicy taste to this Gujarati puri recipe. This easy puri recipe can also be enjoyed in lunch with potato sabji.   • 1 Cup Wheat Flour (Gehun)
  • 2-3 Chopped Tomatoes
  • 4-5 Dried Red Chillies (Sukhi Lal Mirch)
  • 8-10 Garlic Cloves (Lehsun)
  • Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
  • Salt


  1. Make a puree of tomatoes, garlic cloves and dried red chilies.
  2. In wheat flour add salt, coriander leaves and add the puree gradually as you knead the dough. Knead a firm dough for puri. Apply some oil and make it smooth. Rest for 5 minutes.
  3. Roll out puris out of the dough and deep fry it. Tomato puri is ready.
