Sabudana Vada is loved by everyone but it takes time for preparation as you need to soak sabudana well for perfect vadas. Today we will make instant sabudana vada recipe without soaking sabudana. This farali vada recipe is very easy to make and is crispy and tasty to eat. I have shallow fried this upvas sabudana vada but you can also deep fry it. Addition of sugar and lemon juice along with the spiciness of green chilies makes this sabudana vada recipe simply amazing. Recipe:
Ingredients:

  • 1.5 Cups of Sabudana (Sago)
  • 4-5 Boiled & Grated Potatoes
  • 3-4 Finely Chopped Green Chilies (Hari Mirch)
  • 3-4 Teaspoon of Roasted Peanut (Singdana) Powder
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon of Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • Juice of ½ Lemon
  • ½ Teaspoon Sugar
  • Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
  • Salt

Procedure:

  1. In a mixer grind the sabudana into fine powder.
  2. In a mixing bowl take boiled and grated potatoes, add finely chopped green chilies, cumin seeds, lemon juice, salt, sugar, coriander leaves and around 3-4 tablespoons of sabudana powder.
  3. Mix it well and bind it well. If it doesn’t bind you can add more sabudana powder.
  4. Make vadas of the mixture and shallow fry it. Fry it well from both sides and make it golden brown. Try to keep the vada little thin so that it fries well and becomes crispy brown. Enjoy with farali chutney.
