Ingredients:
- 250-300 Grams of Lengthwise Chopped Cabbage (Pata Gobi)
- ½ Cup Soaked Masoor Dal
- 1 Finely Chopped Onion
- 1 Chopped Tomato
- 8-10 Garlic Cloves (Lehsun)
- 8-10 Green Chilies (Hari Mirch)
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
- ½ Teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
- Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
- Salt
- Oil
Procedure:
- Soak masoor dal for around 30 minutes.
- In a mixer add garlic cloves, green chilies, cumin seeds and some coriander leaves. Grind it coarsely.
- Heat oil and add asafoetida and the prepared paste. Stir it well.
- Add finely chopped onion. Stir till it turns transparent.
- Add turmeric powder and soaked masoor dal. Stir for 2-3 minutes.
- Add lengthwise chopped cabbage and mix it.
- Add salt and mix well. Close lid and cook for 3-5 minutes.
- Add finely chopped tomato and coriander leaves. Mix well. Close lid and cook for 2 minutes.
- Kobi Nu Shaak is ready.
