Recipe:
Ingredients:

  • 3 Cups of Wheat Flour (Gehun Ka Atta)
  • 1 Cup of Gram Flour (Besan)
  • 3-4 Teaspoons of Curd (Dahi)
  • ¾ Cup Finely Chopped Fenugreek (Methi)
  • ¾ Cup Finely Chopped Spinach (Palak)
  • 1.5-2 Teaspoon Ginger-Garlic (Adrak-Leshun) Paste
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Red Chili (Lal Mirch) Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Carom Seeds (Ajwain)
  • 1 Teaspoon Sesame Seeds (Safed Til)
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Oil

Procedure:

  1. Take wheat flour and add gram flour, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, dhana jeera powder, red chili powder, carom seeds, sesame seeds, salt and knead it well. Add water if required and knead it. Knead it little bit firm.
  2. Apply some oil and make it smooth.
  3. Take a portion of the dough dust it with wheat flour and roll it into a thin roti. Cut diamond shaped pieces.
  4. Deep fry it and make them golden brown. Tikha Shakarparas are ready.
