Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 2 Ripe Bananas
- 250 Grams of Finely Chopped Fenugreek (Methi)
- 1.5-2 Gram Flour (Besan)
- 1-1.5 Teaspoon of Green Chilli-Ginger-Garlic Cloves (Hari Mirch-Adrak-Lehsun) Paste
- 1 Teaspoon Coriander Seeds (Sabut Dhania)
- 10-15 Black Peppercorns (Sabut Kali Mirch)
- ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
- 1-1.5 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
- 1-1.5 Teaspoon Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) Powder
- ½ - ¾ Teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
- Salt
- Oil
Procedure:
- In a mixer make a coarse powder of coriander seeds and black peppercorns.
- Mash the bananas in a bowl. Add fenugreek leaves, previously prepared coarse powder, green chilli-ginger-garlic cloves paste, turmeric powder, dhana jeera powder, red chilli powder, asafoetida and salt. Mix well.
- Add gram flour gradually and mix well. You won’t require water to prepare the batter.
- Heat oil and add 1-2 tablespoon oil in batter to make the bhajiyas crispy. Mix well.
- Deep fry the bhajiyas and make them nice golden brown.
- Kela Methi Na Bhajiya is ready.
