Instant Stuffed Pudla
Stuffed Pudla is an innovative Gujarati dish to make our normal pudla recipe tasty and more interesting. In this Gujarati pudla recipe we have prepared a stuffing of capsicum, tomatoes, onions and everyone’s favourite paneer. This stuffed pudla recipe can be prepared in breakfast or even for dinner. Ingredients:
For Pudla:
  • 1 Cup Soaked Moong Dal
  • 8-10 Green Chilies (Hari Mirch)
  • 1-1.5 Inch of Ginger (Adrak)
For Stuffing:
  • 200-250 Grams of Paneer
  • 2 Finely Chopped Onions
  • 1 Finely Chopped Capsicum (Shimla Mirch)
  • 2 Finely Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1-2 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • ¾ Teaspoon Black Pepper (Kali Mirch) Powder
  • Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
  • Salt
  • Oil
Procedure:
  1. Heat some oil for stuffing. Add cumin seeds and let it crackle. Add finely chopped onions and sauté it well. Let the onions become soft and light pink.
  2. Add finely chopped capsicum and finely chopped tomatoes. Stir well. Add some salt to cook the vegetables.
  3. Grate paneer in it. Add black pepper powder and coriander leaves. Mix well.
  4. For batter soak moong dal for 4-5 hours. Drain the water.
  5. In a mixer add green chilies, ginger and soaked & drained moong dal. Add salt and grind it into fine paste.
  6. To this mixture add salt and coriander leaves. Add some water and prepare batter for pudla.
  7. Grease some oil on hot tawa and then pour the batter to make pudlas. Spread the batter evenly and make it thin. Roast it well and flip it. Pour some oil if required to the sides. 8. Flip it again and place the vegetables. Fold it and our Stuffed Pudla is ready.
