Ingredients:
- 4-5 Lengthwise Chopped Onion
- 2 Chopped Tomato
- 4-5 Tablespoons of Gram Flour (Besan)
- 8-10 Finely Chopped Garlic Cloves (Lehsun)
- 1-1.5 Inch Finely Chopped Ginger (Adrak)
- 2 Finely Chopped Green Chilies (Hari Mirch)
- 1 Teaspoon Carom Seeds (Ajwain)
- ¼ Teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
- ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
- 1-1.5 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
- 1-1.5 Teaspoon Red Chili (Lal Mirch) Powder
- ¾ Teaspoon Garam Masala
- Salt
- Water
- Oil
Procedure:
- Heat oil and add carom seeds, asafoetida, finely chopped green chilies, finely chopped ginger and finely chopped garlic cloves. Stir well.
- Add lengthwise chopped onion and stir till it turns golden brown.
- Add some salt and mix it.
- Add chopped tomato and stir. Close lid and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, dhana jeera powder and garam masala. Mix well.
- Add gram flour gradually and mix well.
- Close lid and cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Add little water and mix well. Add some coriander leaves. Instant Kanda Besan Nu Shaak is ready.
