Cucumber Raita
Today we will make quick & tasty raita recipe. Cucumber Raita is not only tasty but it also cools your body. This raita recipe in Gujarati can be enjoyed at lunch. Addition of some simple masalas to this ratia recipe gives a nice taste to it. I have also added some green chilies to it to make Raita little spicy, you can avoid it if you don’t want it to be spicy. Recipe:
Ingredients:

  • 1 Cucumber
  • ½ Cup Whisked Curd (Dahi)
  • 1 Finely Chopped Green Chilies (Hari Mich)
  • ¾ Teaspoon Roasted Cumin Seed (Jeera) Powder
  • ¼ Teaspoon Black Salt (Kala Namak)
  • Sugar
  • Salt

Procedure:

  1. Grate the cucumber.
  2. Add whisked curd, roasted cumin seed powder, black salt, salt, green chilies and sugar. Mix well.
  3. Kakdi Nu Raitu is ready.
