Recipe: 

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Almonds (Badam)
  • ½ - ¾ Cup of Milk
  • ½ Cup Sugar
  • ½ Teaspoon Cardamom (Elaichi) Powder
  • Ghee 

Procedure:

  1. Take hot water and soak almonds in it. Soak for 8-10 minutes.
  2. After 10 minutes remove the skin of the almonds. Grind the peeled almonds into coarse powder.
  3. Heat some ghee in a kadhai and roast the almond powder. Add more ghee if required. Add ghee slowly as and when needed. Roast it till it becomes light golden brown.
  4. Once it turns light golden brown add milk and stir well. Add sugar and mix well.
  5. Keep stirring till it thickens. Add cardamom powder and mix well. Badam No Shiro is ready.
