Ingredients:
  • 2 Chopped Carrots
  • 6-8 Chopped Baby Corns
  • 50 Grams Chopped French Beans (Fansi)
  • 1 Lengthwise Chopped Capsicum (Shimla Mirch)
  • 150 Grams Green Peas (Matar)
  • 1 Diced Onion
  • 1 Finely Chopped Onion
  • 2-3 Lengthwise Chopped Green Chilies (Hari Mirch)
  • 8-10 Finely Chopped Garlic Cloves (Lehsun)
  • 1-1.5 Inch Finely Chopped Ginger (Adrak)
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Gram Masala
  • ¾ Teaspoon Black Pepper (Kali Mirch) Powder
  • 1-2 Teaspoon Tomato Sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon Kasuri Methi
  • Salt
  • Butter
  • Oil
Procedure:
  1. Melt some butter on a pan and add chopped carrots, french beans, chopped capsicum, green peas, chopped onions and chopped baby corns. Add some salt and sauté the vegetables well in oil. Once they are ready keep them aside.
  2. In a kadhai heat some oil and add cumin seeds, finely chopped garlic cloves, 2-3 lengthwise chopped green chilies and finely chopped ginger. Stir well.
  3. Add kasuri methi and saute it.
  4. Add finely chopped onion and stir till it turns transparent.
  5. Add chopped tomato and cook it well. Close lid to cook the toamtoes.
  6. Add tomato sauce, turmeric powder, red chili powder, dhana jeera powder and salt. Mix well.
  7. Add the sautéed vegetables and mix it in the masala. Close lid and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  8. Add garam masala and black pepper powder. Mix well.
  9. Garnish it with coriander leaves and our tasty Veg Jalfrezi is ready.
