Poha is the most common breakfast we prepare. Today we will make Pauva with a twist, we will add boiled corn to the pauva which will make the simple pauva more tasty. This Makai Pauva recipe has a different taste and will be loved by everyone. The corn kernels give a nice crispy texture to the dish. Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Boiled Corn
- ½ Cup Soaked Poha
- 1 Finely Chopped Onion
- 2-3 Finely Chopped Green Chilies (Hari Mirch)
- 8-10 Curry Leaves (Kadi Patta)
- 1 Teaspoon Mustard Seeds (Rai)
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
- ½ Teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
- ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
- Juice of 1 Lemon
- 1 Teaspoon Sugar
- Salt
- Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
- Oil
Procedure:
- Heat some oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves, finely chopped green chilies and stir well.
- Add finely chopped onion and stir till it turns transparent.
- Add turmeric powder and boiled corn. Sauté it well.
- Add soaked poha and stir well.
- Add lemon juice, sugar and salt. Mix well.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and our makai pauva is ready.
