Shrikhand Recipe
Shrikhand is loved by everyone and is available in various flavors. We can prepare this shrikhand even at our home. We will make today a quick shrikhand recipe. It will hardly take 20 minutes to make this shrikhand. I have made normal kesar flavored shrikhand but you can prepare your favorite flavor by adding essence. Recipe:
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 Cups of Full Fat Curd (Dahi)
  • 2-3 Tablespoons of Powdered Sugar
  • ¾ Teaspoon Cardamom (Elaichi) Powder
  • Saffron (Kesar)
  • Chopped Pistachios (Pista)
  • Warm Water
Procedure:
  1. Take a cotton cloth & pour the curd on it. With your hands squeeze the water out of the curd. Make sure you don’t tear the cloth while doing this process.
  2. Now take the thick part of the curd in another bowl and add powdered sugar.
  3. In ½ teaspoon warm water add some saffron strands and stir. This enhances the color of saffron.
  4. Add this water in whisked curd and also add cardamom powder. Mix well.
  5. Add chopped pistachios and mix well.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours and then serve it with hot puris.
