Leftover Rice Recipe - Lemon Rice
Many a times we wonder what to make for dinner. Today we will make nice and tasty lemon rice recipe. This rice recipe for dinner is very quick to make and you can enjoy with sweet pickle. Recipe: Ingredients:
  • 2.5 Cups of Boiled Basmati Rice or Leftover Rice
  • 1 Lengthwise Chopped Onion
  • Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
  • 2-3 Tablespoons of Lemon Juice
  • 1 Teaspoon Urad Dal
  • 1 Teaspoon Chana Dal
  • 1 Teaspoon Mustard Seeds (Rai)
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • 8-10 Curry Leaves (Kadi Patta)
  • 2 Dried Red Chilies (Sukhi Lal Mirch)
  • 2 Finely Chopped Green Chilies (Hari Mirch)
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • Salt
  • Ghee
  • Oil
Procedure:
  1. Heat some oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, dried red chilies, curry leaves, chana dal and urad dal. Sauté it well.
  2. Add lengthwise chopped onion and stir till it turns transparent.
  3. Add finely chopped green chilies, turmeric powder and mix well.
  4. Add salt as per taste.
  5. Add boiled basmati rice and mix well.
  6. Add lemon juice, ghee and coriander leaves. Stir well and Lemon Rice is ready.
