Kaju Curry Recipe
We will make today a tasty & quick Kaju Nu Shaak. This tasty cashew curry recipe is prepared in a tasty tomato-onion gravy and can be enjoy with hot parathas or naan. Recipe: Ingredients:
  • 1 Cup Cashew Nuts
  • 2 Chopped Onions
  • 2 Chopped Tomatoes
  • 8-10 Garlic Cloves (Lehsun)
  • 1-1.5 Inch of Ginger (Adrak)
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Red Chili (Lal Mirch) Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Kitchen King Masala
  • Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
  • Salt
Procedure:
  1. Heat some oil and add chopped onions, sauté it well.
  2. Add chopped tomatoes, ginger and garlic cloves. Stir well in oil.
  3. Let this mixture cool down and then make a paste.
  4. Now heat oil for making the curry. Add cumin seeds and add the paste. Fry the paste well.
  5. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, dhana jeera powder, kitchen king masala and salt. Mix well.
  6. Add cashew nut and stir well in masala.
  7. Add water for gravy.
  8. Add some coriander leaves and stir well. You can also grate some paneer on top while serving this tasty Gujarati Kaju Nu Shaak.
