Flower Batata Nu Shaak

Ingredients:
For Masala:
  • 1.5 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • 1.5 Teaspoon Coriander Seeds (Sabut Dhania)
  • 1.5 Teaspoon Fennel Seeds (Saunf)
  • 3 Dried Red Chilies (Sukhi Lal Mirch)
  • 8-10 Cloves (Laung)
  • 8-10 Black Peppercorns (Sabut Kali Mirch)
For Sabzi:
  • 2 Diced Poatoes
  • 250 Grams Cauliflower (Phool Gobi)
  • 200 Grams Green Peas (Matar)
  • 1.5-2 Teaspoon Ginger-Garlic (Adrak-Lehsun) Paste
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Red Chili (Lal Mirch) Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
  • Salt
  • Oil
Procedure:
  1. In an pan or kadhai add coriander seeds, cumin seeds, cloves, black peppercorns, dried red chiles and fennel seeds. Roast it well.
  2. Once it is roasted well, let it cool and grind it coarsely.
  3. For sabzi heat some oil and add cumin seeds, ginger-garlic paste and stir well.
  4. Add cauliflower, potatoes and green peas. Fry the vegetables well in oil.
  5. Now add turmeric powder, red chili powder, 3-4 teaspoons previously prepared masala and salt. Mix well.
  6. Close lid and cook for 5-10 minutes.
  7. Add some coriander leaves and our flower batata nu shaak is ready.
