Recipe: Ingredients:
  • 300 Grams Paneer Cubes
  • 3 Finely Chopped Onion
  • Puree of 2 Tomatoes
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Ginger-Garlic (Adrak Lehsun) Paste
  • 2 Lengthwise Chopped Green Chilies (Hari Mirch)
  • ½ Tablespoon Gram Flour (Besan)
  • 4-5 Cloves (Laung)
  • 2 Cinnamon Sticks (Dalchini)
  • 4-5 Cardamom (Elaichi)
  • 2 Star Anise (Chakri Phool)
  • 2 Bay Leaves (Tej Patta)
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1.5-2 Teaspoon Red Chili (Lal Mirch) Powder
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Kitchen King Masala
  • 1.5-2 Teaspoon Kasuri Methi
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Ghee
Procedure:
  1. Heat some ghee in a kadhai and add cumin seeds, bay leaves, star anise, cardamom, cinnamon sticks, cloves and chopped green chilies. Stir well.
  2. Add finely chopped onion and stir till it turns light brown.
  3. Add gram flour and roast it well and mix it well with the onions.
  4. Add ginger-garlic paste, tomato puree and cook it well.
  5. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, dhana jeera powder, kitchen king masala and salt. Mix well.
  6. Add water as per requirement and prepare gravy. This paneer masala recipe is little bit thick so add little water. Let the gravy come to a boil.
  7. Add paneer cubes and stir well.
  8. Add kasuri methi and mix well. Dhaba Style Paneer Masala is ready, serve it with onions, lemon and hot parathas.
