- 500 Grams Okra (Bhindi)
- 2 Diced Onions
- 1 Finely Chopped Onion
- Puree of 2 Tomatoes
- 2 Lengthwise Chopped Green Chilies (Hari Mirch)
- 1.5-2 Teaspoon Ginger-Garlic (Adrak-Lehsun) Paste
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera0
- ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
- 1.5-2 Teaspoon Red Chili (Lal Mirch) Powder
- 1-1.5 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
- ¾ Teaspoon Dried Mango (Amchur) Powder
- 1.5 Teaspoon Dried Fenugreek (Kasuri Methi)
- Salt
- Oil
Procedure:
- Cut okra into 2-3 pieces and make a slit it from middle.
- Shallow Fry Okras and Diced Onions one by one and take them out in a bowl.
- Now heat some oil and cumin seeds, lengthwise chopped green chilies and finely chopped onion. Stir till the onion turns golden brown.
- Now add ginger-garlic paste and tomato puree and stir it well and cook it. Add finely chopped coriander leaves and sauté it well.
- Add kasuri methi stir well.
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, dhana jeera powder, amchur powder, garam masala and salt. Mix it well.
- Now add shallow fried okras and onions. Mix well and cook it for 2-3 minutes and our Bhindi Do Pyaza, a tasty Bhinda Nu Shaak is ready.
