Recipe: Ingredients:
  • 2.5 Cups of Corn (Makai)
  • 1.5 Cups of Gram Flour (Besan)
  • 1 Finely Chopped Onion
  • 1-2 Finely Chopped Green Chilies (Hari Mirch)
  • 1-1.5 Inch Finely Chopped Ginger (Adrak)
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1.5-2 Teaspoon Red Chili (Lal Mirch) Powder
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
  • Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
  • Salt
  • Oil
Procedure:
  1. Coarsely grind the corn.
  2. Take the coarsely grinded corn in a bowl and add finely chopped onion, finely chopped green chilies, finely chopped ginger, turmeric powder, dhana jeera powder, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, coriander leaves and gram flour.
  3. Add gram flour gradually and mix it. Make a firm batter.
  4. Make vadas and deep fry them in oil. If your vadas not binding well you can add little gram flour.
  5. Fry them well golden brown. Makai Na Vada is ready.
