Recipe: Ingredients:
  • 3-4 Boiled & Grated Potatoes
  • ¾ Cup Bread Crumbs
  • Vermicelli (Sevai)
  • Plain Flour (Maida)
  • 1.5-2 Teaspoon Green Chili-Ginger (Hari Mirch-Adrak) Paste
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Red Chili (Lal Mirch) Powder
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
  • ¾ Teaspoon Black Pepper (Kali Mirch) Powder
  • ¾ Teaspoon Dried Mango (Amchur) Powder
  • Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Oil
Procedure:
  1. In boiled & grated potatoes add bread crumbs, green chili-ginger paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, dhana jeera powder, black pepper powder, dried mango powder, garam masala, salt and coriander leaves. Mix well.
  2. Prepare roll from the mixture and keep it in a plate.
  3. In a shallow bowl take plain flour and add water. Stir well and make a slurry consistency mixture (little bit thin mixture) and make sure no lumps remain in the mixture.
  4. Dip the roll into the plain flour slurry and cover it well. Now cover the roll with sevai and with your hands press it so that the sevai sticks well. Prepare the other rolls similarly.
  5. Deep fry the rolls in oil and make them nice brown and crunchy. Sev Roll is ready to eat.
