- 1.5-2 Cups of Green Moong Dal
- 1 Grated Potato
- 1 Finely Chopped Onion
- 1.5-2 Teaspoon Ginger-Garlic (Adrak-Lehsun) Paste
- 1 Teaspoon Carom Seeds (Ajwain)
- ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
- 1.5-2 Teaspoon Red Chili (Lal Mirch) Powder
- 1-1.5 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
- Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
- Salt
- Curd (Dahi)
- Chaat Masala
- Roasted Cumin Seed (Jeera) Powder
- Dates-Tamarind (Khajur Imli Chutney) Chutney
- Green Chutney
- Soak green moong dal for 5-6 hours, drain the water completely and grind it coarsely in mixer.
- Take the coarsely grinded moong dal and add turmeric powder, red chili powder, dhana jeera powder, crushed carom seeds, ginger-garlic paste, grated potato, finely chopped onion, finely chopped coriander leaves and salt. Mix it well and prepare the batter for bhajiyas. You won’t need water to prepare the batter.
- Deep fry the bhajiyas in oil. Fry it on medium flame.
- Place the bhajiyas in plate and add some chaat masala, roasted cumin seed powder, curd, dates-tamarind chutney and green chutney.
- Moong Dal Bhajiya is ready.
