Indian Style Pasta
Pasta is a popular recipe loved by kids. It is very easy and simple to make pasta recipe at home. Today we will make Indian Style Pasta which has a touch of some Indian masalas and some Italian ingredients like oregano and chili flakes. Recipe: Ingredients: For Boiling Pasta:
  • 150-200 Grams of Pasta
  • 1-2 Teaspoons Oil
  • Salt
For Sauce:
  • ½ Cup of Boiled Corn
  • 1 Lengthwise Chopped Capsicum (Shimla Mirch)
  • 1 Finely Chopped Onion
  • 3-4 Tomatoes
  • 3-4 Dried Red Chilies (Sukhi Lal Mirch)
  • 10-12 Garlic Cloves (Lehsun)
  • 1 Teaspoon Red Chili (Lal Mirch) Powder
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1 Teaspoon Oregano
  • Salt
  • 2 Teaspoons Butter
  • Oil
Procedure:
  1. In a deep bottomed vessel heat some water, add oil and salt. Mix well. Add the pasta and boil it well for 15 minutes.
  2. Drain the water well from the pasta.
  3. In a grinder add tomatoes, dried red chilies, garlic cloves and salt. Make a smooth paste.
  4. Heat some oil and add butter.
  5. Once the butter melts add finely chopped onion and stir till it turns transparent.
  6. Add boiled corn and chopped capsicum. Stir it well.
  7. Add the previously prepared paste and fry it well.
  8. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala and salt. Mix well.
  9. Add boiled pasta and mix well.
  10. Add oregano and stir well. Instant Indian Style Pasta is ready.
