Poha Cutlets
Cutlets is a tasty Indian starter recipe. Today we will make a quick cutlet recipe using potatoes and poha. Poha Cutlets are very easy to make and can be a good recipe for dinner. Ingredients:
  • 2 Cups of Flattened Rice (Poha)
  • 2 Boiled & Grated Potatoes
  • 2 Tablespoons of Rice Flour (Chawal ka Atta)
  • 1 Finely Chopped Onion
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Green Chili- Ginger (Hari Mirch- Adrak) Paste
  • 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Dried Mango (Amchur) Powder
  • ¾ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • Salt
Procedure:
  1. Wash the poha well in water.
  2. In a mixing bowl take washed poha, add boiled & grated potatoes, chopped onion, green chili-ginger paste, turmeric powder, garam masala, dhana jeera powder, dried mango powder, rice flour and salt. Mix the ingredients well. Don’t add water to this mixture if the mixture doesn’t bind add a boiled potato.
  3. Now make cutlets from this mixture.
  4. Heat some oil on pan and shallow fry the cutlets from both sides. Make them crispy and golden brown.
  5. Serve them hot with sauce and chutney.
