Rajasthani food is loved by everyone and today we will make Rajasthani Papad Nu Shaak. This recipe requires no vegetables and is a tasty dinner recipe idea. This tasty Rajasthani dish is prepared from urad dal papad and some masalas. Finely chopped ginger gives a nice taste to this recipe. We have roasted the papad in this recipe. Ingredients:
- 3-4 Urad Dal Papad
- 1 Cup Whisked Curd (Dahi)
- 1-1.5 Inch Finely Chopped Ginger (Adrak)
- 3-4 Finely Chopped Green Chilies (Hari Mirch)
- 2-3 Bay Leaves (Tej Patta)
- 2 Dried Red Chilies (Sukhi Lal Mirch)
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
- ¼ Teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
- ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
- 1-1.5 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
- 1.5-2 Teaspoon Kashmiri Red Chili (Lal Mirch) Powder
- Salt
- Ghee
Procedure:
- Roast the papad on a tawa.
- In a kadhai heat some ghee and add cumin seeds, asafoetida, finely chopped ginger, finely chopped green chilies, bay leaf, dried red chilies and sauté it well.
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder and dhana jeera powder. Mix well.
- Add whisked curd and stir continuously so that the curd doesn’t separates. Add water and let the gravy come to a boil.
- Break the papad into pieces and add to the gravy. Papad Nu Shaak is ready.
