Papad Ki Sabji - Papad Nu Shaak
Rajasthani food is loved by everyone and today we will make Rajasthani Papad Nu Shaak. This recipe requires no vegetables and is a tasty dinner recipe idea. This tasty Rajasthani dish is prepared from urad dal papad and some masalas. Finely chopped ginger gives a nice taste to this recipe. We have roasted the papad in this recipe.   • 3-4 Urad Dal Papad
  • 1 Cup Whisked Curd (Dahi)
  • 1-1.5 Inch Finely Chopped Ginger (Adrak)
  • 3-4 Finely Chopped Green Chilies (Hari Mirch)
  • 2-3 Bay Leaves (Tej Patta)
  • 2 Dried Red Chilies (Sukhi Lal Mirch) 
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • ¼ Teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
  • 1.5-2 Teaspoon Kashmiri Red Chili (Lal Mirch) Powder
  • Salt
  • Ghee
  1. Roast the papad on a tawa.
  2. In a kadhai heat some ghee and add cumin seeds, asafoetida, finely chopped ginger, finely chopped green chilies, bay leaf, dried red chilies and sauté it well.
  3. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder and dhana jeera powder. Mix well.
  4. Add whisked curd and stir continuously so that the curd doesn’t separates. Add water and let the gravy come to a boil.
  5. Break the papad into pieces and add to the gravy. Papad Nu Shaak is ready.
