Chatpata Aloo
We will make today quick and tasty Batata Nu Shaak. This is an instant and yummy Gujarati Bataka Nu Shaak. In this potato sabji we will cut the potatoes into cubes, fry them and then stir it in a mix of tasty masalas. This Gujarati recipe can be a good recipe for lunch or dinner. Ingredients:
  • 500 Grams of Potatoes
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
  •  1-1.5 Teaspoon Red Chili (Lal Mirch) Powder
  • Juice of ½ Lemon
  • Salt
  • Oil
Procedure:
  1. Dice potaoes and shallow fry them in oil.
  2. Heat oil and add turmeric powder, red chili powder, dhana jeera powder and stir well.
  3. Add fried potatoes and mix well.
  4. Add salt and lemon juice. Toss the potatoes.
  5. Chatapata Aloo is ready.
