Frankie is a all time favorite street food recipe. Frankie is simply tempting and is loved by everyone. Today we will make roti frankie recipe using leftover rotis. This leftover roti recipe is very easy to make and tasty to eat. In this recipe we have prepared a chatapata potato sabji and have added cheese to make it more yummy. Everyone would surely love this Cheese Frankie Recipe made from Leftover Roti.

Ingredients:
  • Leftover Roti
  • Lengthwise Chopped Onions
  • Lengthwise Chopped Capsicum (Shimla Mirch)
  • 3-4 Boiled & Mashed Potatoes
  • 1.5-2 Teaspoon Ginger-Green Chili (Adrak-Hari Mirch) Paste
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Red Chili (Lal Mirch) Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
  • Cumin Seed (Jeera) Powder
  • Dried Mango (Amchur) Powder
  • Grated Cheese
  • Tomato Sauce
  • Juice of ½ Lemon
  • Salt
Procedure:
  1. Heat some oil and add ginger-green chili paste and sauté it well. Add red chili powder and gram masala, stir well. Add boiled and mashed potatoes and mix well. Cook it well.
  2. Add lemon juice and salt and mix well. Take the mixture in a bowl and let it cool down.
  3. Now on a tawa add some butter and spread it evenly. Roast the roti well in the butter.
  4. While on apply sauce on roti and grate some cheese. Place potato mixture in the centre, add some onions, capsicum, sprinkle some cumin seed powder and dried mango powder.
  5. Now fold the frankie and our yummy Leftover Roti Frankie is ready.
