Veg Cutlet Recipe | Vegetable Cutlet | How to make cutlet

Cutlet or Katles is very popular starter recipe to enjoy with a cup of tea. In this cutlet recipe I have used potatoes, carrots and green peas. We have used bread crumbs for binding and covered cutlet with suji to give a nice crispy texture. You can enjoy this cutlet with bread and tomato sauce. Ingredients:
  • 2-3 Potatoes
  • 1-2 Carrots
  • 100 Grams Green Peas
  • 1 Finely Chopped Onion
  • 1 Cup Bread Crumbs
  • Semolina (Suji)
  • 1.5-2 Teaspoons Ginger-Garlic (Adrak-Lehsun) Paste
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Red Chili (Lal Mirch) Powder
  • ¾ Teaspoon Garam Masla
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Oil
Procedure:
  1. In a cooker boil potatoes, carrots and green peas. 
  2. Heat oil and add chopped onions and stir till it turns transparent. 
  3. Add ginger garlic paste and sauté it well. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, dhana jeera powder and mix well.
  4. Add the boiled vegetables and salt. Mix well. Mash the vegetables and let it cook till it becomes dry.
  5. Let the mixture cool down and then add bread crumbs to it. Mix well and then prepare cutlets out of it.
  6. Cover the cutlets with suji and shallow fry them till they become golden brown. Veg Katles is ready to eat.
