Samosa is a popular Indian snack recipe. In this recipe we have prepared a chatpata aloo stuffing for the samosa. You can prepare samosa in various ways but today we will see a simple and tasty way to make a yummy samosa at home.

- 1.5 Cups of Plain Flour (Maida)
- 1 Teaspoon Carom Seeds (Ajwain)
- Salt
- Water
- 500 Grams Boiled Potatoes
- 250 Grams Green Peas (Vatana)
- 5-6 Finely Chopped Green Chilies (Hari Mirch)
- 1 Inch Finely Chopped Ginger (Adrak)
- 1 Teaspoon Red Chili (Lal Mirch) Powder
- ¾ Teaspoon Roasted Cumin Seed (Jeera) Powder
- ¾ Teaspoon Dried Mango (Amchur) Powder
- ½ Teaspoon Garam Masala
- Salt
- Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
- In plain flour add carom seeds, salt and oil. Mix well till the oil is absorbed. Add water and knead the dough. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Mash the boiled potatoes.
- Now heat some oil and add green chilies, ginger and sauté it well. Add green peas and mix well.
- Add red chili powder, garam masala and mix well. Now add the mashed potatoes and mix them well.
- Add salt, dried mango powder, roasted cumin seed powder and coriander leaves. Stir well and let it cook for 2-3 minutes. Then take it in a bowl and let it cool down.
- Now take a portion of the dough, dust it with some flour and roll it into a roti. Make sure the roti is thin. Cut it in center and take one part. Apply water to the edges and prepare a cone. Fill the stuffing, close the edges and our samosas are ready.
- Deep fry the samosa in oil and our Samosas are ready.
