Quick Tiffin Box Potato Sabji - Easy Potato Recipes

Lunch Box special recipe bataka nu shaak is very quick and yummy recipe. This recipe is prepared with minimum masalas and consists of minimum ingredients. Ingredients:
  • Potatoes
  • 1 Finely Chopped Onion
  • 8-10 Finely Chopped Garlic Cloves (Lehsun)
  • 1 Teaspoon Mustard Seeds (Rai)
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • ½ Teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Red Chili (Lal Mirch) Powder
  • Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Oil
Procedure:
  1. Slice and cut the potatoes into pieces.
  2. Heat oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida and finely chopped garlic cloves and stir well.
  3. Add finely chopped onion and stir till it turns golden brown.
  4. Add red chili powder and mix well.
  5. Add potatoes and stir well. Add salt as per taste and mix well. Close lid and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add little water and give it a stir. Close lid and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  7. Garnish it with some coriander leaves and our quick bataka nu shaak is ready.
