Gundar Ni Pend - Gundar Pak - Healthy Winter Recipe

Gundar Pak is a popular Gujarati recipe which is prepared in the Winter season. It is prepared in ghee and consists of healthy ingredients like gundar, dry fruits, ganthola powder, milk and coconut. It is very nutritious for kids and elders. You can prepare this recipe and store it for 8-10 days and can have it every morning for a healthy day.
Recipe:
Ingredients:
  • 50 Grams of Edible Gum (Gundar)
  • 500 ml Milk
  • 1 Cup Grated Coconut
  • ¾ Cup of Powdered Dry Fruits
  • 100 Grams Powdered Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons of Ghee
  • 1.5 Teaspoon Poppy Seeds (Khuskhus)
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Ganthola Powder
  • 2 Teaspoon Dried Ginger (Sonth) Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Cardamom (Elaichi) Powder
  • ½ Teaspoon Nutmeg (Jaiphal) Powder
Procedure:
  1. Heat ghee and add grinded gundar. Fry it well.
  2. Add milk and stir till the milk splits and gundar melts completely.
  3. Now add sugar and stir it is dissolved well.
  4. Add grated coconut and powdered dry fruits. Mix it well and stir till it becomes thick.
  5. Now add ganthola powder, dried ginger powder, poppy seeds, cardamom powder and nutmeg powder. Mix well and our Gundar Pak is ready.
