In this recipe we will make a healthy pizza prepared using traditional Gujarati bhakri as a base. The Bhakri is prepared using wheat flour and ghee making healthy to eat instead of plain flour or maida. The Bhakri is topped with some fresh vegetables and cheese. A special pizza sauce consisting of tomatoes and some traditional spices is used in this recipe.

- Puree of 3-4 Tomatoes
- ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
- 1 Teaspoon Red Chili (Lal Mirch) Powder
- ½ Teaspoon Cinnamon- Cloves Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Sugar
- Salt
- Oil
- Finely Chopped Onions
- Finely Chopped Tomatoes
- Finely Chopped Capsicum
- 1 Teaspoon Red Chili (Lal Mirch) Powder
- ½ Teaspoon Black Pepper (Kali Mirch) Powder
- Coriander Leaves
- Salt

- Ghee
- For preparing the sauce heat some oil and add the tomato puree. Cook the puree well.
- Now add turmeric powder, red chili powder, cinnamon-cloves powder, sugar and salt. Mix well and cook till it thickens. Our sauce is ready.
- Now for the topping take some chopped onions, chopped tomatoes and chopped capsicum in a bowl. Add red chili powder, black pepper powder, salt and some coriander leaves. Mix well and our topping is ready.
- Now prepare the dough to make Bhakris. Roll out a big bhakri out of the dough. Using a small bowl cut small pizza bases from it.
- Now in a pan add some ghee and spread it evenly. Roast the bhakri well from both sides in the ghee. Once the bhakri is roasted, apply tomato sauce to it, add some topping and grate some cheese over it. Close the lid of the pan and let it cook till cheese melts. Healthy Pizza is ready to eat.
