- Pav
- 300 Grams Potatoes
- 150 Grams Cauliflower (Phool Gobi)
- 150 Grams Green Peas (Matar)
- 2 Finely Chopped Onions
- 2 Finely Chopped Tomatoes
- 1 Finely Chopped Capsicum (Shimla Mirch)
- 1.5 -2 Teaspoons Ginger Garlic (Adrak-Lehsun) Paste
- 2-3 Teaspoons of Dried Kashmiri Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) Paste
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
- ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
- 1-1.5 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
- 2-3 Teaspoon Pav Bhaji Masala
- Red Chili (Lal Mirch) Powder
- 2 Teaspoons of Butter
- Lemon Juice
- Coriander Leaves
- Salt
- Oil
- Water
- Boil potatoes, cauliflower and green peas in a pressure cooker.
- Now heat some oil and add butter. Add cumin seeds and let it crackle. Add chopped onions and stir till it turns transparent.
- Add ginger garlic paste and dried Kashmiri red chili paste. Stir well. For the red chili paste, soak the red chilies and then grind it into a paste.
- Add finely chopped tomatoes and finely chopped capsicum. Stir well till tomatoes become soft.
- Add turmeric powder, dhana jeera powder and pav bhaji masala. Mix well.
- Mash the vegetables well. Add salt as per taste and water. Mix well.
- Add lemon juice, coriander leaves and some butter. Mix well and our bhaji is ready.
- On a tawa add some butter, let it melt then add a pinch of red chili powder and some coriander leaves. Roast the pavs in this masala.
- Serve the bhaji with pav and some chopped onions and lemon. Pav Bhaji is ready.
