This chutney is very quick to prepare and consists of some special ingredients which gives the chutney an array of different taste and texture. - 1 Cup Grated Coconut (Nariyal)
- 1-1.5 Teaspoon Split Chana Dal (Dalia)
- 1-1.5 Teaspoon Roasted Peanuts (Singdana)
- 2-3 Green Chilies (Hari Mirch)
- 2-3 Onion Pieces
- 2-3 Tamarind Pieces (Imli)
- Salt
- Water
- 1 Teaspoon Mustard Seeds (Rai)
- 3-4 Dried Red Chilies (Sukhi Lal Mirch)
- 10- 12 Curry Leaves (Kadi Patta)
- Oil
- In a mixer cup add grated coconut, split chana dal, roasted peanuts, green chilies, onion pieces, tamarind, salt and water. Grind it well.
- For tadka, heat some oil and add mustard seeds, dried red chilies and curry leaves. Pour this tadka over the chutney. South Indian style Coconut Chutney is ready.
