Farali Gota Recipe - Farali Bhajiya Recipe - Navaratri Special Recipe

In this week I will show you some quick & tasty farali recipes for Navratri. In today’s Navratri Recipe we will make Farali Gota. Gota is a popular Gujarati Farsan prepared from gram flour. Today we will make traditional Gujarati Gota but for upvas using Rajgira flour and potatoes. You can enjoy these Gotas with dahi. 
  • 1.5 Cups of Rajgira Flour
  • 2 Grated Potatoes
  • ½ Cup Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Crushed Green Chilies (Hari Mirch)
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Oil
  1. In a bowl take rajgira flour, add grated potatoes, cumin seeds, crushed green chilies, coriander leaves, salt and mix them.
  2. Add some water and prepare thick batter to make gotas.
  3. Heat oil and drop small portions of the batter. Deep fry the gotas till they turn golden brown.
  4. Once they turn golden brown, remove them in a serving plate and serve it with dahi.
