Paneer Pulao - Quick Pulao in Cooker - How to make Paneer Pulao

Today we will make an instant pulao recipe with the goodness of paneer. Paneer Pulao is really quick to make and can be an excellent recipe for the lunch box. I have prepared the pulao in pressure cooker which further quickens the recipe. You can enjoy this recipe with some raita or a delicious masala papad.
Recipe:
Ingredients:
  • 2 Cups of Washed Rice
  • 300 Grams of Paneer Cubes
  • 1 Sliced Onion
  • 3-4 Lengthwise Chopped Green Chilies (Hari Mirch)
  • Some Chopped Mint Leaves (Pudina)
  • Some Chopped Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
  • 2-3 Bay Leaves (Tej Patta)
  • 2-3 Cinnamon Sticks (Dalchini)
  • 4-5 Cloves (Laung)
  • 4-5 Black Peppercorns (Sabut Kali Mirch)
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • 1.5- 2 Teaspoons Garam Masala
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Oil
Procedure:
  1. Shallow fry paneer cubes in oil.
  2. In a pressure cooker, heat some oil and add cumin seeds, bay leaves, cloves, cinnamon sticks, black peppercorns and sliced onions. Stir well till the onions turn golden brown.
  3. Add chopped green chilies, mint leaves and coriander leaves. Stir well.
  4. Now add garam masala and paneer cubes. Stir well the paneer in the masala.
  5. Add rice and salt. Mix well.
  6. Add water and stir well. Close lid and pressure cook for 2 whistles. Paneer Pulao is ready to eat.
