Coconut Kheer Recipe - Kheer Recipe - Gujarati Rasoi

Today we will make a different kheer recipe from coconut. Coconut Kheer is very quick kheer recipe to make at home. In this recipe we have roasted grated coconut and some dry fruits in ghee and have prepared a delicious kheer. Adding some cardamom powder at the end elevates the flavor of the recipe.
Recipe:
Ingredients:
  • 1 Cup Grated Coconut (Nariyal)
  • ½- ¾ Cup Sugar
  • ¾ Cup Milk
  • Chopped Cashew Nuts (Kaju)
  • Raisins (Kishmish)
  • Chopped Almonds (Badam)
  • ½ Teaspoon Cardamom (Elaichi) Powder
  • Ghee
Procedure:
  1. Heat ghee and roast the grated coconut in it. Roast it slightly and don’t let the coconut turn brown.
  2. Now add chopped cashew nuts, raisins, chopped almonds and stir well.
  3. Add sugar and stir well.
  4. Now add milk and stir it till it starts to boil.
  5. After boiling the kheer, switch off the gas and add cardamom powder. Mix well and our Coconut Kheer is ready. Serve it cold for the best taste.
